You Were Never Meant to Navigate Elderhood Alone.

Crone Circles are intimate online gatherings where women over sixty

come together to reflect, grow, and step more intentionally into the wisdom of elderhood.

Life Changes As We Grow Older

There comes a time in many women's lives when something begins to shift.

It might begin with retirement—or simply wondering when it's time to retire. You may experience significant losses, like the death of a parent, along with quieter ones as your children build lives of their own. Perhaps you become a grandparent, or you come to terms with the realization that this won't be part of your story.

Your body changes. Your energy changes. You begin making decisions about where you'll live, how you'll spend your time, and what truly matters. Questions about purpose, finances, relationships, and the years ahead begin to surface.

And yet, there are gifts too.

Many women find themselves happier, more content, and less concerned with meeting other people's expectations. There is a new freedom to choose what matters most and to live more authentically than ever before.

This season of life brings profound questions—and tremendous opportunity.

If you find yourself longing for deeper conversations, meaningful connection, and a community who understand this journey, you are not alone.

That's why I created Crone Circles.

Because becoming an elder deserves to be explored with intention, supported by community, and honoured as one of life's most meaningful transitions.

We need spaces where becoming an elder is honoured—not ignored.

What Happens During a Circle?

A crone circle is an intimate, online gathering of 10-12 women who meet monthly to explore the journey of conscious aging.

This small group setting fosters a sense of trust, connection, and meaningful dialogue. Together, we create a sacred space to share stories, reflect on life’s transitions, and celebrate the wisdom that comes with experience.

Each session centers around a thoughtfully chosen theme related to conscious aging, such as facing mortality, legacy, or life transitions. Guided discussions, meditations, and reflective prompts provide tools to deepen your personal journey and nurture your growth.

This is more than just a meeting—it’s a community of like-minded women who support one another in embracing life’s later chapters with grace, courage, and intention.

Why Crone?

A crone is a powerful archetype representing the wisdom, strength, and transformation of a woman’s life experience. Traditionally seen in mythology and folklore as an elder woman, the crone embodies deep knowledge, intuition, and the ability to guide others through life’s mysteries.

In today’s context, the crone symbolizes an empowered woman who has embraced her authenticity, resilience, and inner wisdom. She is a source of inspiration for those navigating the later chapters of life, showing that aging is not a loss but a journey of growth, self-discovery, and liberation. The crone celebrates the unique power of women and the beauty of embracing every stage of life with grace and confidence.

I created Crone Circles after one of my retreats because I didn’t want the conversation to end! I discovered I wasn’t alone. I’ve been gathering women in circles for several years.

This journey to discover the wise elder feels like the natural next iteration in my work. I’ve spent my career in adult education working with diverse groups globally. Wondering about my credentials? Visit the about page.

I’ve been leading women’s retreats for over 25 years. It’s a long story! I’m happy to be doing this work now.
