What has your life taught you?

As we enter the Third Age of life, we have an opportunity to look back—not simply to remember what happened, but to discover what our lives have taught us.

  • The joyful experiences.

  • The difficult ones.

  • The people who shaped us.

  • The choices we made.

  • The things we lost.

  • The moments when we became more fully ourselves.

A Life Review invites us to gather these experiences and begin to see the larger story.

What wisdom is hidden in the life you’ve lived?

And perhaps even more importantly:

What wisdom am I ready to carry forward?

This is not a memoir-writing workshop.

You don't need to write your autobiography.

Instead, we'll spend two hours exploring, remembering, writing and reflecting on the stories that have shaped you.

You'll have time to work privately with your own memories and experiences, and you'll have the opportunity to share one of your stories with another woman in a practice of deep listening and witnessing.

You won't be expected to share anything you don't want to share.

Remember

Identify five stories that have shaped your life and begin to see the themes running through them.

Reflect

Look beneath the events of your life to explore what they have meant and what they have taught you.

Re-story

Choose one significant story and consider it from the perspective of the woman you are today.

Reclaim

Notice what you want to carry forward—and what you may be ready to release.

Harvest

Identify the lessons and experiences that have become wisdom you can draw upon and share with others.

Your Life Review Workbook

Your registration includes a Soul-Centered Life Review Workbook to use during the workshop and continue working with afterward.

The workbook will guide you through:

  • Five Stories That Shaped My Life

  • Identifying themes and patterns

  • Exploring one story more deeply

  • Re-storying a significant experience

  • The lessons my life has taught me

  • The wisdom I am carrying forward

  • The gifts I have to offer

  • Continuing your Life Review beyond the workshop

Note: You won't finish your entire Life Review in two hours. You'll begin it.

A time to have your story witnessed

One of the most meaningful parts of Life Review is having another person receive your story.

During the workshop, you'll have an opportunity to share one of your stories with a partner.

There will be no advice-giving or fixing.

Just listening.

Because sometimes we need another person to hear the story we've carried for years and simply say:

"I hear you. Your story matters."

Is this for you?

This workshop may be especially meaningful if you are:

  • 60+ and entering a new season of life

  • curious about what your life has taught you

  • experiencing a transition or change in identity

  • wanting to understand your life with greater compassion

  • carrying stories you'd like to see differently

  • interested in discovering the wisdom that has emerged from your experiences

  • wondering what you have to offer in this next chapter

What you'll need:

  • A quiet place where you can work without interruption

  • Your workbook

  • A journal or notebook

  • A pen

  • A willingness to look back with curiosity, honesty and compassion.
